Aida Ayupova


Aida Ayupova was born on October 25, 1970 in Almaty. In 1988 she graduated from the Republican Specialized Music School named after K. Baiseitova the violin class under the guidance of the Honored teacher of Kazakhstan Professor Petrusheva. After graduation of Almaty State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy in 1993-1999 she educated in Austria (Vienna), where she graduated from the Vienna Conservatory with honors in the class of the famous musician, student of D.Oistrakh Professor Arenkov and had an intership in the Vienna Academy of Music and Fine Arts.

From an early age Aida participated in government concerts and at the age of 14 years she gave her first solo concert on the stage of Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic.

In 1985 Aida became the winner of the Republican Violin Competition (1st Prize) and the winner of the All-Union competition “Commonwealth-90” (1st Prize);
in 1990 – winner of Regional Violin Competition (1st Prize);
in 1992 – awarded winner of International Violin Competition “Chateau de Korsilon” in France;
1996-winner of Kazakhstan Youth Union.
From 1996 to the present Aida Ayupova a soloist of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl. During this time she successfully performed in the best halls of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in neighboring countries and beyond with famous artists and bandmasters. She repeated honorably represent our country before the heads of friendly states as well as in our country and as a part of cultural delegations abroad. Aida regularly participates in numerous music festivals, concerts, master classes of Kazakhstan, Russia, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, Japan, China, USA and others.

The last years the creativity of Aida revealed most intensively, which proves her concert activity in different direction: solo concerts with orchestra performances with various chamber bands, as well as trailblazing experiments in presenting classical music with new means, which plays an important role in educational artist mission. The proof of this is the joint Kazakh-French project “Mausymzhan”, which led to record a CD in Paris in 2012 with the participation of world-renowned French musicians. The inspirer, organizer, producer and lead singer of this project is Aida Ayupova.

In 2000 Aida honored Government award “Enbek ereni ushin”(“Енбек еренi ушiн);

in 2002 – honored “Tarlan” award;

in 2001, Aida Ayupova participated in the International Performing Arts Championship (USA) in the group “Ulytau”, which won the Grand Prize and a gold medal;

In 2008 awarded by the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and honorary title “Қазақстанның еңбек сіңірген қайраткеры” (Honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan) award.
